Troubleshooting

| Problem | Try this |
|---|---|
| Phones can't open the join page | Phones must reach the same address as the TV. Don't use localhost. Open Huddle by your computer's network address, and check guest Wi-Fi isn't blocking devices |
| The code or QR doesn't work | Check the 6-character code. The game may be locked or finished. Ask the host to unlock Joining |
| The TV shows "Ready when you are" | That's normal until a game is hosted to that display. Host a game and pick the display |
| Display offline | Check the TV's internet, then reopen its display link or QR code |
| "Display is busy" | It's playing another game. Confirm you want to switch, or pick another display |
| Forgot the host PIN | The Game Setup tab shows it on the device that started the game. Otherwise end the game and start a new one |
| PIN is locked | Five wrong tries lock entry for 60 seconds. Wait, then try again |
| No sound for audio clues | Audio plays on the TV only. Browsers may block autoplay, so the host presses play on the TV |
| A phone shows "Reconnecting…" | Wait a moment; it reconnects and keeps your team. If it doesn't, reload the page and rejoin with the same team name |
| A team name was refused or changed | Names are filtered. Choose another, or ask the host |
| I can't open Studio | Studio needs an account and a role that includes it, and the feature must be on for your organization |
| A feature is missing | It may be switched off for your organization. An Owner can check Features |
| AI features say "unavailable" | An AI provider must be set up for the server. Ask the person who runs Huddle |
