Creator Studio

Creator Studio is where you make trivia packs. Open Studio from the top menu. It needs an account and a role that includes Studio.
Platform-admin utilities are separate from Studio. Accounts explicitly granted Admin access see Admin above Organization in the account menu. Admin contains AI Operations, Rating review and the aggregate public-catalog Huddle age-rating distribution. Ordinary organization owners and members do not see these tools.
Ways to start
| Way | What it is |
|---|---|
| Build with AI | Describe a trivia game, or choose Study, Practice Test, or Language Practice and add materials. Review the plan before Huddle writes questions |
| Surprise me / Quick game | One-tap games and templates (This Week, Hometown Trivia) |
| Build it myself | Write questions in the editor |
All three make the same pack, in the same editor. Mix them freely.
Build with AI
- Describe the topic, audience and length.
- Review the round and moment plan.
- Approve it. Nothing is written before you do.
- Review the result. AI changes are always a preview first (Apply / Discard).
For source-based learning, open Create → Build with AI → Study or practice test. Paste notes or upload PDF, Word, PowerPoint, TXT/Markdown, PNG, JPEG or WebP files (8 MB each, up to 12 sources), or add a public link. Huddle extracts text, reads supported images and scanned PDF pages when image-reading AI is enabled, and shows what it read. Choose a goal, difficulty, question count and Study or Practice Test. Review the outline before generating. Each question in the editor shows its source and an excerpt; check both before hosting.
The pending materials stay private to your organization while you work or retry. Completing Build this game or choosing Cancel and delete materials removes the originals and extracted text. Only excerpts actually used in a question remain in the pack. You must add the sources again for another source-based rewrite. AI does not look up extra information on the web for this flow. A configured AI provider is required.
If your organization has Language Practice enabled, choose the language being learned, explanation language, approximate level, and vocabulary, grammar, or reading focus. Huddle writes a private Study pack from your notes with selected-response questions. Study games omit speed bonuses and the report shows missed questions. Review language, dialect, alternate valid answers, and every explanation yourself; the level is a learning target, not a certified assessment. Speech and audio lessons are not included.
Build manually
In the Content tab: + Question, ↑ Import (CSV), ✨ Add with AI, ▶ Preview. Questions you wrote or edited are never changed by pack-level AI.
✨ Regenerate on a round replaces its AI-written questions and keeps your edited questions. It uses the pack topic and round intent, checks whether replacements fit the topic, and retries an off-topic result once. If it still cannot write enough related questions, the round stays unchanged. Review the new answers before hosting.
Import a CSV
Use the template in Studio. Choose where rows go (round, category or difficulty). The check step shows each round's count and difficulty mix first. A round holds 30 questions; extra rows continue in the next round.
Customize a free game
Copy any free game to make your own private version. The original never changes, and your copy shows what it was based on. Copies stay private to your organization.
Library and preview
Search, tag, sort and archive packs in My trivia packs. Archived packs can be recovered or unarchived for 14 days; an automated daily cleanup permanently deletes them after that window. ▶ Play preview runs the whole pack before anyone sees it.
Analytics
Performance shows how a pack plays over time. After each game the host gets a Session Report. See Reports and analytics.
