Pack Check and publishing

5 min read · Updated 2026-11-02

Pack Check

Pack Check reviews a pack for duplicates, unclear answers, off-topic questions, balance, missing media rights, stale facts and more. Run it from the Pack check tab, or from Studio → Fact check.

When AI is enabled, ✨ Check & improve game shows a working message while it reviews questions, improves safe wording and answers, and suggests playable flow changes such as a Power Play or stronger finale. It reuses current editorial reviews for unchanged questions and reviews changed questions again. The result appears when it finishes, with a link to review edited questions and moments. If a suggestion creates a required fix, you get a preview to review instead. Changed questions and moments still need your review; check answers and remaining flags before publishing. Without AI, ✓ Check my pack runs the automatic checks.

Flags can be fixed, or reviewed and signed off if they're intentional. A flag you accept stays on record with your name.

Why does this question need review?

A question may be on hold or review because players reported it, almost nobody answered it correctly, a fact may be out of date, or its media has no rights statement. Fix it, or keep it as is after reviewing it.

Media and rights

Huddle links to media rather than hosting it. To add an image or audio clip you must:

Don't add media you don't have the right to use. See Content Guidelines and Copyright.

Current events

Questions written from today's news are checked against their sources, which are shown. They go stale: re-check them before each use.

Content freshness

Huddle shows Evergreen, Seasonal, Current, Fresh, or Review due on packs. Evergreen packs are durable subjects and are not marked Aging merely because they are older. Current and seasonal packs use the playable question pool and meaningful source or fact-review evidence; publishing, renaming a pack, changing its cover, or checking one question does not refresh the whole pack.

The review cadence is shorter for current events and fast-moving topics than for durable subjects. Open Pack check to see how many questions need attention, then re-check a source or replace the question. Freshness is guidance for maintaining a playable pack; it is not a claim that Huddle independently guarantees every fact.

Publish

  1. Run Pack Check and resolve or sign off every flag.
  2. During prelaunch, only a platform super user can publish a free pack to the shared Huddle catalog and Discover. Other creators can write, save, check and preview private packs for their organization, but have no public Publish action yet.
  3. Published packs can be shared in Discover. Copies and remixes stay private to the organization that made them and are never listed in Discover.
  4. Allow remixes lets other venues make private remixes. Stopping it doesn't change remixes already made.

By publishing you confirm you have the rights to the content. Huddle may review a pack and remove or suspend content that breaks the Content Guidelines.

Update a published pack

The platform super user can edit and publish again. Each publish is a new version, and past games keep the version they played. Copies of a free pack are told when the original updates; your copy stays exactly as it is.

Unpublish or archive

Unpublish first, then Archive. Nothing is deleted.
