How to join
- Scan the QR code on the TV, or open
/joinand type the game code. - Enter a team name.
- Wait in the lobby.
No account, no app. In Together, one phone controls one team. In Remote / Hybrid beta, a team can have one captain and other members who follow along.
Remote / Hybrid invitations
Open the invitation in your browser, enter your required display name, and create a team (or play solo) or choose an existing team to follow. Leave a new team’s name blank to generate a funny name when you join. A new team's first player is captain; only the current captain submits answers. Up to 8 players can join a team. Display names must be unique within the team, and team names unique in the game. Team switching is closed during a game. Names are visible to the group and are not verified identities. On your phone, the reveal shows each answer above its percentage and result badge. Cards stack when space is limited.
If the host requires approval, wait for the request to be approved, then select I'm ready. Remote guests see the complete question, choices, accepted-answer confirmation, reveal and standings on one device. In Hybrid, select I am using the shared TV to use it with your phone as controller. New teams arriving mid-question wait until the next one where joining is open. Competitive locks joining at start; Big Reveal accepts new players only before start. Survivor closes new teams at start, but guests may follow an existing team; an eliminated team stays a spectator even after a captain change or reconnect.
Use the quick reactions to celebrate. The host can mute reactions or remove players. If you disconnect, keep the invitation and reopen it in the same browser: saved access restores your team and current phase. Do not clear browser storage. If a captain cannot return, ask the host to assign another connected member. A first accepted answer still counts once. A group rematch follows automatically when the host starts it; its scores and readiness start fresh. If removed, ask the host about future participation.
